Privacy policy
This policy covers this website, run by Veilix Labs LLC. The HomeWatch product isn’t available yet; a separate policy will cover it before launch.
What we collect
- Waitlist sign-ups: your email address, when you signed up and confirmed, which form you used (for example, the top or bottom of the homepage), and a random code used in your confirm and unsubscribe links. Your address is stored in Amazon Web Services (DynamoDB) in the United States.
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request data (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the site. We use your IP address briefly to limit how often a form can be submitted; we don’t store it with your email.
We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, sell data, or share your email with marketers.
How we use it
- To email you about HomeWatch, mainly to tell you when it’s available.
- To send one email asking you to confirm your address, through Amazon Simple Email Service. Until you confirm, we won’t email you anything else.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe, ask us to remove it, or we stop running the waitlist, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing deletes your record.
Your choices
Every email after confirmation includes an unsubscribe link that deletes your entry. To see, correct or delete your waitlist entry another way, email hello@veilixlabs.com.
Children
This website isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
